A good original Second World War period gilt and enamel 'Royal Air Force sweetheart brooch'; George VI Crowned wreath, blue enamel disc bearing 'RAF' title flanked by large white enamel feathered wings. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright, an excellent example.Width 54mm.
