Corgi Model Toys Childrens Club Badge

A good original circa 1960's early period 'Corgi Model Club gilt pin badge' in the form of an oblong badge inlaid with red enamel, the centre depicting a gilt recessed 'Welsh Corgi Dog' trademark; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'FATTORINI & SONS 36 BARR ST. B'HAM'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no defects to the enamel. An excellent example.Size approx 22 x 18mm.The Corgi toy vehicles were introduced in the United Kingdom in 1956 and were manufactured in Swansea, Wales, for twenty seven years before the company went into liquidation.
