Boy Scouts District Rover Scoutmaster officers silver hat plume badge

A rare original 1st issue circa 1928 period 'District Rover Scoutmaster silver hat badge'; arrowhead in circle, enamelled 'R S' instead of the normal stars with 'Be Prepered' scroll; the reverse impressed 'SILVER' with maker's details 'Collins London' and registered, design and patent number Rd 535292' for the year 1909. Very good clean condition, complete with correct single bauble to the top and two baubles below, retaining both original loops and white bristle plume.Diameter approx 31mm.
