A scarce original 'Gregory & Quilter Parachute Company silver plated winged parachute canopy GQ qualification pin badge' depicting a parachutist, the rounded end wings inlaid with dark red enamel, the reverse impressed 'G.Q Parachutist' (manufacturers flaw). Very good condition, complete with original tube joint pin fitting and correct flat rolled catch, no damage to the enamel, complete with original 'J.R.GAUNT & SON LTD' backing card.Size approx 38 x 17mm.The 'GQ Parachutist badge' was given by the 'Gregory & Quilter Company' to anyone who had completed parachute training using their parachutes.
