A good original First World War period 'Silver War Badge issue numbered 'B153440', awarded to '141259 Private Albert William Baylis Starling' of the 'Labour Corps' issued on the 8th May 1919. He enlisted on the 7th December 1915 and was discharged from the Labour Corps on the 29th May 1917, his home town being Stourport Worcestershire. He did not serve overseas, this badge will represent his only entitlement for his Great War service. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings.Diameter 33mm.
