A good original circa 1933 to 1939 period Welsh 'Cardiff City Special Constabulary police badge'; Crowned gilt title circlet inlaid with white enamel, the centre bearing enamel shield bearing the Cardiff City Coat of Arms on blue enamel ground; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Fattorini & Sons Ltd Bradford Works Birmingham' (a manufacturers mark used between 1933 and 1939). Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, no damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright.Height approx 33mm.
