Shell-Mex and B.P. Ltd Oil Company petrol tanker driver cap badge

A scarce original circa 1960's period 'Shell-Mex and B.P. Ltd tanker driver's cap badge', large chromium plated example made in two parts bearing the 1955 -1971 style logo's in painted enamel finish. Very good condition, complete with original two loop fittings to reverse, two screw nuts holding the two parts together, that is how they were made, minimal sevice wear.Height approx 40mm.Width approx 48mm.
