Swift Club Weekly Comic Membership Badge circa 1954 to 1961

A good original example of a circa 1954 to 1961 period 'Swift Club membership pin badge' gilt brass title surround with ring below for additional year bars, the voided centre depicting a finely executed Swift Bird on the wing. Very good condition , complete with original pin fitting.Diameter approx 25mm.Swift Comic launched by Hulton Press in 1954. sold to Odhams Press in 1959, merged into the Eagle Comic in 1961.
