Mk2 Helmet with Western Desert Artwork

A Brodie Mk2 British steel helmet with Western Desert artwork. No liner. At the front is an image of Ernst Rommel, with Field Marshall Montgomery to the rear. One side has a 1942 date and celebrates the 8th Army while the other side is marked Egypt, Afrika Korps. No visible shell stamp. Chinstrap bales present. An impressive item.
