Japanese-Russo War Medal - Cased

A cased example of the Japanese-Russo War Medal. Gilt medal with swivel bar and original ribbon. Wood and velvet case with gold blocking on lid. The medal was instituted in 1906 for military service in the Japanese-Russo war of 1904-5, fought between Japan and the Russian Empire for control of Manchuria and the Korean Peninsula.
