German Franco Prussian War CDV Photo Album

Original era manufacture. A large format, leather covered album with 25 heavy gilt edged pages with spaces for four Cartes des Visite size images in each, 8 if you use both sides. Large metal Iron Cross on the cover with a banner below bearing the date 1870. There is some scuffing to the leather covering anda small tear in the bottom of the spinebut nothing serious, some of the pages have some minor tears in them, again, nothing serious. Album measures 9.5x3x11.5 inches.
