A RARE K98 PATENT LEATHER PARADE FROG WITH D.R.P. MARKED BACK PLATE.

For those who collect accessories etc this is quite a rare find. A patent leather parade frog with the reinforced black painted aluminium back plate. Patented by the manufacturer to reduce wear and strengthen the frog itself. All of these have DRP stamped into them. Some people attribute these to a Postal bayonet frog Deutche Reich Post, but I think it's Deutche Reich Patent. Nice frog nonetheless.
