IMPERIAL GERMAN WW1 TRENCH KNIFE.

A well known and documented example of a trench knife carried by German Infantrymen in WW1. A near identical example pictured on page 28 of the book 'German Combat knives 1914-1945 by Christian MERY. This dagger is in excellent condition throughout. Wood grips with 9 slanted grooves to each side. Steel crossguard with quillion. Black painted steel scabbard with an intact leather belt loop.
