WW2 Military Waltham Pocket Watch c.1943

This is a good WW2 General Service Mark 2 military pocket watch by Waltham whose company archives date it to 1943. Given the extra engravings on the case back, Waltham's timeline suggests that its watch served with either General Slim's 14th Army or with Lord Louis Mountbatten in the South East Asia Command.An attractive military watch in good working order, featuring an exceptionally clean dial and movement, easily capable of daily use.
