WW2 British Mk.II Helmet - Iconic Malta Camouflage - RA

A British Mk.II helmet painted with the iconic textured Malta camouflage pattern with Royal Artillery decal to one side. The outside of the helmet has seen some wear and there is a dent to the front, visible rust discolouration can be seen coming through various areas of paint. The inside has a fair amount of surface rust with just a few spots of the original factory paint still visible particularly on the chinstrap lugs. The Mk.I liner is stamped 7 J.C.S & W LTD I 1939 and is in fair condition. A scarce helmet and the first I have had the pleasure of handling. The helmet came with other Maltese items listed for sale.
