WW2 British Mk.II Helmet - RAMC

A nice example of a British Mk.III helmet stamped F&L 309 / 1939. The outside of the shell is painted a late war, brown. Although worn and faded the decal is clearly that of the RAMC. The inside of the helmet retains its original factory paint and is subject to some surface rust. The helmet is fitted with an early liner (Mk.I) but I am unable to see any maker or date stamps. Overall a really nice helmet that would have belonged to a member of the Royal Army Medical Corps.
