WW2 FRENCH MEDAL OF THE RESISTANCE

A French Medal of the Resistance (Médaille de la Résistance) 1943, constructed in bronze with an integral ribbon bar. The obverse of the medal depicts the Cross of Lorraine, a symbol of the Free French, and 'XVIII.VI. MCMXL' (18 June 1940). The reverse is inscribed 'PATRIA NON IMMEMOR' with the Paris mint 'Br' mark & 'Cornucopia' logo below. The medal measures 33.3mm, complete with original ribbon in good condition.
