Antique, early 19th century, Southeast Asian Burmese Silver mounted dagger Dha, Dah (or dha-hmyaung).The hilt in classical Thai -Burmese style, encased by silver collar adorned with bands of roped silver wire, mounted with an extremely sharp, sturdy, hand forged, recurved single-edged blade. Solid silver scabbard lined inside with a wooden insert, is decorated en suite with the hilt adorned with bands of roped silver wire.CONDITION: Showing age, tone and usage, blade with minor pitting, silver scabbard dented.Overall length 240mm inc sheath.
