Gilt and enamel pin-back lapel-badge. No makers marks. Mint condition.The Burma Star Association was formed on 26 February 1951 to promote comradeship and the welfare of its members. Requirements for membership was to have served in the World War II Burma campaign and qualified for the Burma Star or the Pacific Star with 'Burma' clasp. Both men and women were eligible.
