Original era manufacture. 1936Olympic Medal and Document awarded to Police Bureau Assistant Hans Bosse, in May of 1937. Nice quality printing to the document, with an embossed eagle and wreath in the lower left corner, and a facsimile of Hitler's signature.The medal is of silvered alloy, withits original ribbon with suspension bar, the ribbon has faded from age.The 1936 Summer Olympic Games where held in Berlin,Hitler used the occasion to showcase the recently established Nazi regime. An American athlete who participated in the track and field competition at thegames that year was a man by the name of Jesse Owens, who won four gold medals, an incredible feat at the time, gaining him worldwide fame.
