A fine scarce die-stamped silvered example worn circa 1903-1922. Crowned star bearing circlet CARNATIC INFANTRY with seperate 86 applied to centre. Two loops to the reverse. VGC Sowars & Sepoys 789Became 10th Bn. 3rd Madras Regiment in 1922 but disbanded in 1926
