Rumanian, WWI-WWII Era, M1895 Bayonet and Frog

Original period manufacture. An Austrian pattern bayonet, with a bright finished blade with the double-headed eagle proof on the reverse ricasso, and the makers logo OE-WG. The blade is fairly clean showing, scattered staining to the surface, with a nick in the cutting edge.Steel patina finished guard and pommel, lock button works properly. Simple wood grips in fairly good repair, showing typical marring from age and use, and a thin crack below the pommel on one side.Blue finished steel scabbard with scattered denting, V&N marked on the stud. Brown leather frog with sewn construction, exhibiting normal age and wear.
