US Gulf War Era Ontario Knife Company Black Wind Katana

Original era manufacture. Recently purchased from the collection of a US Army Gulf War Veteran, is this Ontario Knife Company, Black Wind Katana.It features a 20 inch blade with a powder coated finish, one piece construction with a black nylon cord wrapped grip. Heavy black composition molded scabbard, with a black nylon belt loop.Our veteran friendreferred to this weapon as an 'Ali Baba' sword, and commented that the swords were more impressive to their Iraqi friends than the most up-to-date firearms shown them by the GI's. Appears basically unused, just handling wear only, light surface scuffing to the scabbard.
