German MG34/42 barrem container. In my opinion a post-war refurbished example with newly added strap. Shows nice patina. Catch is crooked. Maker marked by gym (MĂŒnzerhĂŒtte, Eisen- u. Metallwarenfabrik G.m.b.H, Aussig Sud) dated 1940.
