US Cold War Era USMC Officers Sword, Eickhorn Mfg

Original era manufacture. An excellent quality, German made sword by the famous firm of Eickhorn, Solingen Germany. 35 inch chromed steel blade with etched panels on each side of the blade. Imported and retailed by NS Meyer with their name on one side of the ricasso and the Eickhorn trademark on the other. USMC serial number 322on the spine. Gilded brass metal grip fittings and grip stars with a white composition grip. Age or stress cracks in the grip plates at the lower grip star. A very nice sword from an old Arizona collection.
