US Civil War GAR Membership Medal, Numbered Edge

Original era manufacture. A very vintage looking medal with lots of character, old replaced blue silk ribbon.left on the star and suspension bar, sound original ribbon. Serial numbered on the edge. Serial numbered on the edge, R37477. On the ribbon is a miniature staff colonel shoulder strap indicating a previous officer position in the GAR by the original owner. A great looking old medal
