Description
Original era manufacture. A scarce example of a seldom encountered Italian folding bayonet for the Beretta Submachine Gun. Similar in design to the Carcano rifle folding bayonet, but without a muzzle ring, instead a T-shaped stud on top of the grip. The bayonet has seen considerable wear and use, with a metal screw escutcheon missing from the left side grip plate. There is scattered light surface pitting to the metal surfaces, and the point is slightly blunted.Still a rare variation, and I believe the first example we have ever offered. See Kiesling page 334 for a similar example.
