Royal Yugoslavian Army Sword & Knot, Alcoso Mfg

Original era manufacture. Apre WWII German manufacture sword with a 33 inch chromed steel blade. It is very similar in appearance to the M1895 German cavalry sword. The blade is clean, with markings on both sides of the ricasso, and a touch of corrosion staining near the tip. There is a slight bend to the tip beginning about 3 inches back, I believe this can be straightened.Very ornate basket type guard displaying the coat of arms of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia, with a lionhead pommel. Heavy black bakelite ribbed grip with no chips or cracks.Wrapped around the guard is an original silver wire sword knot in very sound condition. Chromed steel scabbard is basically dent free, showing scattered areas of corrosion staining and lifting to the plating. Scarce sword I would think, and with it's knot to boot.
