Original era manufacture. Chromed steel blade measuring 32 inches in length. It is fairly clean with scattered areas of staining to the surface and some corrosion darkening at the tip. Like our Royal Yugoslavian sword we listed today, this one has a slight bend near the tip.Etched panels on each side of the blade, and on the spine the Eickhorn name, with the retailers name on the left ricasso. Ornate brass guard, back strap and pommel, with pronounced langets, one displaying the Romanian coat of arms, the other, the royal cypher. Fishskin wrapped grip, bound with triple strand wire. The fish skin covering shows wear, with exposed spots of the wooden core peeking through.Wrapped around the grip is a well worn original maroon cloth strap with a wire ball knot. Chrome finished steel scabbard showing considerable wear, with some denting near the drag. Another not so easy to find sword.
