German WWI 98/05 Bayonet & Scabbard, Schilling Mfg, 1916.

Original era manufacture. Standard butcher pattern bayonet, marked crown W 16 on the spine, with clear makers markings on the ricasso.The blade is clean, with a steel patina finish, the cutting edge has been lightly sharpened, and the point remains sharp. Steel patina finish to the guard and pommel, original finish wooden grips, with minimal denting to the flashguard.Blue steel finished scabbard with no corrosion issues, throat screw intact, with denting to the body on both sides from service use.
