A nice quality 40 mm cross with a two color enameled obverse, gilt arms and reverse. and original ribbon.Torino maker mark on the lower arm of the cross, and a motto and date above. The Italian 1st Army fought the armies of the Austro-Hungarian Empire in the Eastern Alps during WWI. This cross honors the service of the Italian troops who fought there.
