EARLY ALL BRASS THIRD REICH LIONS HEAD PARADE SWORD

Description

I do think swords are still underrated, but I can understand the difficulty in display and storage. However, I think they are great value for money and are NOT generally reproduced at all. This is a decent example of an early lions head parade sword by Alcoso. It's pictured in the Angola sword book. Heavy cast brass hilt with red glass eyes in the lions head. Perfect black celluloid grip with original twisted wire all intact. Crossguard has a great outstretched eagle. Black painted scabbard is in very good shape with no damage. It seems to have had a professional re-paint at some time, but looks extremely good. Blade is a little dull and could probably do with a polish, but it's undamaged. The ALCOSO trademark is hidden under the crossguard langet, but is readable. Displays well. Very reasonably priced.'The sale of Knives and other Edged Weapons are restricted to those aged over 18.
