China 1900 with Relief of Pekin claspTo- W.A.WOODGATE.STO.HMS.TERRIBLEWilliam Alfred Woodgate was born in Brighton 20-3-78 & enlisted in to the Royal Navy in 1897. He served with the parties landed from HMS Terrible at the Relief of Pekin & was also onboard Terrible during the Boer war of 1899-1902 & is entitled to a no clasp QSA. He was discharged in 1909 having completed his 12 years service & went on to serve with the Merchant Navy during WW1 & is also entitled to the Mercantile Marine pair.VF or better with contact marks in the field & complete with copy service papers263 Relief of Pekin clasps to HMS Terrible out of a total issue of 969 to the ship.
