WW1 1914 Star To- MY5.128.J.T.JONES.AB.RNVR.NELSON.BN.RNDJohn Trevor Jones from Birkenhead was born 21-11-1893 & enlisted in to the Mersey Division of the R.N.V.R 7-6-1912. He was living at 216 Cleveland Street, Birkenhead at the time of his enlistment & on the outbreak of WW1 he was sent to serve on land in France & Belgium with the Nelson battalion of the Royal Naval Division. He was found unfit for further service 2-1-1915 due to Otitis media & discharged from the service as medically unfit.NEF & Complete with copy RND & RNVR papers.
