WW1 PairTo- 23449.PTE.T.BURKE.W.RID.RThomas Burke was both born & enlisted in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire & originally first served overseas with the 8th service battalion of the West Riding Regiment. He transferred to the K.R.R.C & was posted to the 1/16th battalion of the London Regiment. with service number 43621. He was sadly killed in action in France & Flanders 17-6-1918 & is buried in Dainville British cemetery.NEF & Complete with MIC details. Along with SDGW details & details from the CWGC.
