Japanese Order of the Rising Sun, 6th Class, Cased

Original era manufacture. A beautiful silver medal with lovely enameling on both sides of the planchet, and Pawlonia leaf suspension. There are a few very small flakes in the pawlonia leaf, front and rear, these are quite small, and best seen with a magnifying glass. The red enamel disc at center has some light surface scratches but no chips or flakes.The original ribbon is intact, lightly soiled from handling, with no tears or holes. Original lacquered wood case with a faded velvet lining.
