Japanese WWII Civilian Hat, Brass Naval Emblem

Original era manufacture. Late war quality burlap-like material, with a painted fabric chinstrap, and imitation leather sweatband..no liner.Attached to the front of the hat is a great looking stamped brass emblem, exhibiting a Naval motif. Oval shaped, with a anchor with crossed hammers. The device measures 35 x 40 mm.
