Japanese WWII Unusual Rice Cooker

Original era manufacture. We're not quite sure what we have here, as it is unlike any other Japanese Rice Cooker or Messkit we have offered before. Standard WWII size made in three sections, lid, inner tray and pot, each marked in the same way.Unusual bale handle with loops at center and each corner. In addition, there is a bar which slides up and down between the two sides. We have checked our references in our library and cannot find another example with this style handle. Overall it shows typical wear and use with a spot of garage paint on its lid.
