Original era manufacture. Heavy brass casing marked on the bottom, PLAN LTD, Neuchatel Switzerland. On the top it is marked U.S. ENGINEER CORPS. Dial points North properly.Khaki canvas British made belt case which is dated 1942, and has a U.S. M1910 belt hook attachment.  Light age and wear.
