Original era manufacture. First pattern patch adopted in 1922 and approved for use in 1931, changed in 1942 to the more familiar white 9 with a red Roman numeral five (V) on a blue field. Cut edge, cotton embroidered patch which does not glow. Very clean. European Theater WWII, 151 days of combat in three campaigns. Light age and wear.
