(WAS £1495) WW2 GERMAN M40 CAMO HELMET WITH RAF KIT BAG

This is a WW2 German M40 Camo Helmet which has came with the WW2 RAF Kit bag, the liner is in good condition but the chin strap has been broken, Im not able to see the makers on this one due to rust in the area, there are rust spots throughout which can be seen. I was told this was a German soldier named Heimer who managed to get hold of a RAF kit bag and place his Personal effects in it, the Heimer on the bag looks like it has been written again over the original writing of Heimer which can be seen underneath. A nice Camo helmet to add to the collection.
