Original era manufacture. Polished steel blade measuring 21 inches in length, no major nicks in the cutting edge, however the surface shows considerable staining from corrosion. Simple iron tsuba, with gold decorated grip collar and pommel cap. Original fish skin covered grip, but the cloth binding has been removed. Wooden bodied scabbard covered in a brown leather with sound stitching, showing a bit of splitting of the leather near the throat. You can practice your restoration skills on this guy, you're not going to hurt it. The tang is not signed.
