Japanese WWII, Army Officers Private Purchase, Wool Field Cap, Complete

Original era manufacture. Nice quality brown wool field cap, with officers pattern insignia, and two cherry blossom decorated chinstrap buttons. Intact brown leather chinstrap with an adjusting buckle. Three brown painted metal ventilation grommets on each side, and metal grommets for the adjusting string in the back of the hat.The interior of the hat exhibits a dark brown imitation silk lining, with an ersatz-like sweatband of brown colored thin cardboard.It is in very clean condition, no moth issues, and no staining or tears.
