Japanese WWII, Army Late War Issue, Enlisted Field Cap

Original era manufacture. Rough texture wool, in a dark olive-green color, with a BeVo style embroidered star on the front. Sound, brown leather chinstrap, secured with two brown painted steel side buttons, the right side button exhibiting surface rust.Open weave white cotton lining with several issue stamps, very unusual original sweatband, it's a skin of some sort, with a glossy surface on one side. It is also kanji stamped and size marked on the underside.Very clean, no moth issues or staining, thin cloth loops for the neck covering on the bottom rear edge of the hat.
