Description
Pair of Wehrmacht MP44 / STG44 Magazine Pouches (Sturmgewehr 44 Magazintaschen). Soldiers equipped with the MP44 (Sturmgewehr 44) were issued a pair of magazine pouches which each held three thirty round magazines. This is slightly mismatched late war set in typical late war construction made of green canvas material and recycled materials. The pouches are having brown leather closure straps, the leather straps are in supple and functional condition. The sides of the flaps are made of black 'Ersatz' (Preßstoff) material. The connecting straps on the back are present but might have been restored once. One pouch is maker marked by 'KKD 1944', the other pouch by 'fuq 1944'. These will make a great display. Nice pair of late war MP44 pouches in good used condition!
