Hitler-Jugend Leader Dagger 'RZM M7/36'

Hitler-Jugend Leader Dagger (HJ Dolch für Führer). The Hitler Youth leader dagger was introduced in 1937. The blade is showing the motto 'Blut und Ehre' (Blood & Honor) and the maker mark 'RZM M7/36' indicating production by the company of 'E. & F. Hörster' from Solingen. The blade shows only typical light surface scratches throughout, and runner marks. The grip is covered in a twisted wire wrap and the pommel shows the correct HJ diamond on top. The dagger comes with its original leather covered scabbard, the leather is showing some minor damage. The dagger is showing a nice darkened age patina. The dagger is complete with matching and rarely found leather hangers, the hangers are showing a repair, see photos, but are in overall good condition. Extremely rare original Hitler Youth leader dagger in good condition, one of the rarest daggers to be found!
