Description

Late constructed M40 Feldbluse in 1941. Complete with original pale green collar attached. M40 pattern collar tabs original factory machine applied. Standard M40 pattern breast eagle hand applied. Shoulder boards with grass green 'Gebirgsjäger' piping are reproductions added by the previous owner, and come with it for free. Matching with the original Gebirgsjäger edelweiss sleeve patch, also hand applied. The other size shows a grass green Gebirgsjäger sleeve Blitz for signal career. Full length jacket with pleats in the bottom pockets intact. Shows a few small moth damages (of which some of them are repaired). Complete cotton liner, shows minimal wear. Size marked (96cm chest = large) and dated 1941. Shows a post-war museum-depot stamp inside. The jacket shows minimal use and the wool therefor is still thick and full. Very nice and genuine enlisted Field Blouse!
