Description

Genuine and very well preserved standard army General greatcoat with the classic red velvet inside. The coat is complete with the original applied shoulder boards for the rank of General der Infaterie (or other branche…), showing two big stars. Golden buttons are maker marked by Assmann on one side and maker marked by Overhoff on the other, all period applied with the same thread. The tailors label inside the breast pocket has been removed. The coat itself is a textbook example in extremely nice condition! The exterior soft doeskin wool shows minimal damages and still preserves nice green colors. A beautiful General greatcoat – so hard to find nowadays!
