Description

German WWII Skull Ring w/Entwined Snakes-You know I actually found a photo of Himmler wearing this ring with the entwined snakes on it. Robin Lumsden wrote 'Himmler loved his rings and is known to have worn this pattern of Totenkopf ring ……………. with a snake along the side'. During the late 1920s, it was described as a 'Wehrwolf' ring'.Someone wore the heck out of this ring, The skull's jaw and teeth have worn away the lower face, except for the sides where you can see remnants of teeth. The ring is marked 835 for Frey & Co, a popular maker of these skull rings. This ring retains its silver color, and other than the lower jaw does show good details to the upper skull and the snakes. This ring will fit an 8 ½. It is in very good shape, and a great offering.
