German WWII Skull Ring-This is a high quality ring with a highly detailed skull and crossbones. This is the variation that is known as the 'missing teeth model'. Next to the skull is a snake head, and oak leaves. This ring is nicely maker marked with 835F* 'Ln' for 'Fray & Co. Laurin' and was introduced around 1936 as a seal of quality for mid-priced jewelry. Rings by this maker were also found with glass eyes in red and clear. This is a larger size, fitting a size 9 ½. It is in very good condition, and an unusual variation of a skull ring.
